For more than 220 years José Cuervo Tradicional Tequila has been characterized as the essence of Mexicans: united, hospitable, friendly, and never without a modern and global vision.

And Cuervo Tradicional has always been there in moments that unite us, moments that become traditions.

OBJECTIVES –

We had the clear objective to position José Cuervo Tradicional Silver and Resposado, in the city of Monterrey through an event focusing on the main characteristic of Tradicional, bonding.

Challenge –

How to build an event that reflects the traditions of Monterrey but with a touch of modern and global? Glorifying those moments with friends that become traditions.

The idea –

We reinvented one of the most popular traditions in Monterrey, the famous carne asada con los amigos, with the help of a Airbnb.

HOW DID WE DO IT? –

We remodeled a rooftop on one of the tallest buildings in Monterrey as a the best space to throw a party with your friends: music from the best DJs in the city, amazing carne asada and burgers, trendy furniture, amenities, service and of course Cuervo Tradicional Tequila.

The rooftop also has an impressive view of Cerro de la Silla, a mountain and natural monument in Monterrey, and one could appreciate the whole skyline of Monterrey, watch the sunset and enjoy the ambiance of the city from above.

The announcement was made on Tradicional social media where you could participate and had the chance to reserve the rooftop on the Airbnb website on one of the five available weekends.

Each day we had a big party with VIP guests, media, and celebrities making Rooftop JCT the hottest spot in Monterrey and a royal tradition.

CONCEPT –

We created TERRAZA TRADICIONAL, a space with the best view of Monterrey that you and your friends could reserve via Airbnb to live a day with us, thanks to Cuervo Tradicional.

What were the results of the event?

Exclusive gatherings

We had more than 15 parties with more than 500 guests on top of Monterrey.

Social media impact

783, 532 people impacted thanks to social media, creating buzz throughout the whole month.

Interaction on social media

More than 2400 interactions online, mainly pictures on Instagram and Twitter.

Media presence

50+ media passes to one of the 15 parties on the roof, achieving a return on investment of 2 to 1.
