Ciudad Abierta

Context
A city for everyone
One of the greatest opportunities for society is to stop ignoring that we all have different physical and mental needs and conditions. Ironically, these differences are what make us human.
Although Mexico City has made significant progress in terms of inclusion and combating discrimination, much work remains to be done. Various statistics show how negative behaviors persist toward different population groups, whether due to social status, gender, sexual orientation, origin, disability, or pet ownership, among many other factors.
Objective
Challenge

The Idea
Develop a web app (ciudadabierta.mx) where users can search, consult, and find places with free access, adequate infrastructure, and non-discriminatory conditions in the city, while also generating a database enriched with information from three main sources: Google, Time Out Mexico (the city guide), and the users themselves.
The platform contains an initial census of different public and recreational spaces divided into five categories, which continue to be evaluated and are expected to expand with user feedback. These categories, in turn, contain different indicators according to criteria of inclusion, non-discrimination, infrastructure, and the conditions necessary to serve everyone.
