The future has already happened
Facebook is not just a social network; it is one of the most important companies in the world. A company that has achieved what few have: becoming a part of our daily lives and a cornerstone of today’s society. It has transformed how we communicate, how we interact, and, above all, how we advertise.

The Idea
Facebook Summit 2016: The Shift was a gathering where leaders from various Facebook categories and tools shared with their clients the solutions offered by this medium to connect with the people they care about and grow their business.
We featured talks given by experts in the field, as well as off-stage experiences where our audience could meet other entrepreneurs who have increased their sales thanks to Facebook.
How did we achieve it?
We conveyed two major messages: our platforms and business growth opportunities. We created a series of off-stage experiences, such as the SMB Bazaar: a showcase of small local businesses, 95% of whose sales are made through FB and Instagram. An Instagram zone with a photo booth, a Relax Zone for guest networking, a barbershop, and the Poster Lab featuring illustrations by emerging designers inspired by Facebook and its platforms.
Concept
This is how we created Facebook: The Shift, an experience where Facebook leaders would meet with Mexican advertisers, from global companies to local entrepreneurs. We reflected what we are experiencing: a change in the way of doing business thanks to the new mobile behavior of Mexicans, inviting companies to join this change and connect with their consumers through Facebook.
