Context

This new Netflix title, filled with suspicion, crime, and infidelity, was presented at an event that immersed guests in the plot, making them feel like part of the most exclusive and mysterious country club.

For one time only, Thursday’s Widows held an exclusive open-door dinner so that everyone could experience the country club concept. At the Andaz Hotel, we recreated the style of Los Altos de las Cascadas, creating an experience where attendees could learn about the series, feel what it is like to be part of the cast, discover clues about the plot, and watch the first episode.

Objective

To ensure that soap opera fans and followers of the cast learn more about this new Netflix production and enjoy a unique experience, while generating a significant impact on social media and the press, increasing the title's visibility and attracting new viewers.

The Idea

The Thursday’s Widows event offered attendees a unique and memorable experience that combined luxury, glamour, and entertainment in an exclusive and sophisticated atmosphere. Guests enjoyed the cocktail area, posed on the red carpet, and concluded with a gourmet dinner in a themed setting.

Thursday’s Widows succeeded in creating a unique experience for guests, thanks to the innovative way it was presented.

The event generated 28 red carpet features, as well as over 40 stories about the immersive experience during the dinner.

These features included coverage from El Universal, Quién, Vogue, and Elle, among other major media outlets.
